Lyons feints and then cracks Mironov's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mironov down.

Lyons stuffs the takedown attempt from Mironov. Mironov gets slowly back to his feet.
A punch lands to the side of Mironov 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Jeez, Sergei Mironov's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Lyons throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Mironov takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Mironov is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Lyons's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems.

Lyons sends Mironov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lyons is motioning to the referee to let Mironov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sergei Mironov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Compton pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Compton slips under a jab from Sandwich.

Compton lands a big head kick that sends Sandwich tumbling to the mat! Compton takes a step backwards and waves Sandwich back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sandwich is rocked!

It looks like Lunchmeat Sandwich has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Compton Throws a clean left jab. Compton Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Sandwich's chin! Sandwich crumbles to the ground and Compton follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Compton!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Colt Compton!
Colt Compton retains his lightweight title!
Our winner, Colt Compton, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
