Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Saint connects with a single shot there.

Saint feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I've got Saint winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Jensen Saint is the new light heavyweight champion!
Jensen Saint decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Taj al Din stepped up to the mic, saying '"I believe my time in the cage is done. After a 15 year MMA career, it's time to hang the gloves up."'.
