Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Day Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Guerra might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Blink-182 - Heart's All Gone. The crowd seem to be enjoying Man's choice of entrance music: Day Man Remix. Diego Guerra has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Man's waist but Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guerra off to one side.

Man throws a body punch but Guerra moves out of range.
We've been informed that Man has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

I think Pelano might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to I Wanna Be Somebody by WASP. On his way into the cage it seems that Hector Pelano has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hector Pelano seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ropuia walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
DeVito fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ropuia on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by DeVito. DeVito obviously looking to wear him down.

Ropuia has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by DeVito.
Michak Ropuia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeVito scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Ropuia lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and DeVito has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from DeVito and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnny Freedom.
