The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbossa tries to score a power double leg takedown but Urutaka sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Barbossa somewhat.
Barbossa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Urutaka paws at him with a jab and circles away.

No joy there for Urutaka, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Barbossa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Barbossa prevents Urutaka from standing back up.

Urutaka definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Barbossa goes for a double leg but Urutaka avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Urutaka continues to drive forward.

Urutaka throws a combination. Barbossa tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Oooooh!!! Urutaka has knocked Barbossa down with a huge combo! Urutaka steps away and waves a wobbly Barbossa back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Barbossa is still on wobbly legs! Can Urutaka finish him?
Urutaka pushes off an throws an elbow but Barbossa leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Urutaka creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Barbossa with a big uppercut! Barbossa tries to clinch up but Urutaka pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Barbossa to the mat! Barbossa covers up and Urutaka unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

I think Mendez might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Who Let the Dawgs Out - Baha Men. Kiko Mendez has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Kids stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Kiko Mendez has been cut.
Kids cracks Mendez with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Kids changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters circling a little - Kids finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Kids sends Mendez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Kids is motioning to the referee to let Mendez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Crack! Kids connects with the perfect overhand right and Mendez falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Kids!

Dummy tries to bum rush Smith with a series of wild strikes but Smith uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Smith wants to clinch up but Dummy keeps it at a distance.
Smith fails with a takedown attempt.
No joy there for Dummy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dummy shoots in and gets a takedown into Smith's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Smith wants to hit a switch here but Dummy passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Smith there!
Smith tries to control the position but Dummy now has his back.
Dummy is hanging on to Smith's back as he tries to escape.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dummy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dummy is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Dummy controlling the positon.
Dummy misses with a punch to the head.
Smith holding both Dummy 's hands and preventing any damage.
Smith is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Dummy working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Smith is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Dummy has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Smith taps out!

Radman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Radman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Horrible takedown by Radman or perhaps it was just good defense by Pendragon which made him look bad.
A head kick misses from Pendragon.
Radman keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Pendragon scores with a nice head shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pendragon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Radman. That did some damage!
Radman shoots in and drives through. Pendragon sprawls well.
Amr Pendragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antonio Radman.
Radman takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Radman is trying desperately to land a takedown but Pendragon is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Radman.

Pendragon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Radman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pendragon catches Radman with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Radman forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

Adams goes for a takedown attempt but Wallace pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Wallace fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Adams is out of range.

Wallace has managed to clinch.
Adams is trying to drag Wallace to the mat but Wallace just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Adams has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wallace after a bit of a struggle.
William Wallace has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Flynn Adams.
Adams has Wallace pressed against the cage, preventing Wallace from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Adams has Wallace pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wallace manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Adams has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wallace is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Wallace lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Adams fails to land the takedown.
Wallace throws a combination. Adams tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that William Wallace will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Wallace tries to bum rush Adams with a series of wild strikes but Adams uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Adams takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Adams slips a jab and a cross from Wallace.
Wallace slips a jab and a cross from Adams.
Wallace fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adams ducks right into an uppercut from Wallace.
Adams is still on wobbly legs! Can Wallace finish him?

That has opened up Flynn Adams's cut even more.

Wallace is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Adams is in big trouble! Wallace is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Adams. Poor guy.
