Holmes thuds his right hand into East's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Holmes's corner calls for a 1-2. Holmes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
East walks straight into a right hand from Holmes - that's dropped him! Holmes jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save East from any more punishment! East complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Moore has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
