The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaver closes the distance and clinches up with Grabowski, looking for a takedown. Beaver pushes Grabowski against the cage but Grabowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Beaver doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Grabowski is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Beaver gets his way!

A very excited looking Lehbron Kingston rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Khan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Khan jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nelson walks away with a smile on his face. Khan gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Khan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Nelson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Khan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That kick from Nelson tenderised Khan's leg. Khan is trying to keep his angry face on.
A lazy left from Nelson finds it's target.
Nelson lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Khan up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Nelson from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Khan's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
