The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Abdullah shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Abdullah has gone for a leg lock! Polo slips out almost immediately though and dives into Abdullah's guard.

Polo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Abdullah looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Polo advances to half guard.
My spies in H.M.F.L.Elite Gym inform me that Polo has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Polo is looking to take a break and control but Abdullah is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Corpor.
Laprise walks into a straight right hand from Corpor.

It looks like Pierre Laprise has been cut.
Laprise throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Corpor's waist but Corpor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Laprise off to one side.
Corpor lands with a kick to the ribs.
Corpor looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Corpor backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Laprise's temple! It sends Laprise violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Corpor celebrates and the doctors try to help Laprise!

A relieved looking Hector Corpor thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Cold has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Herman after a bit of a struggle.

King tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones Jr paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Jones Jr points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. King wakes up just in time to hear Jones Jr thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

OH! Carson has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Marabou smells blood and charges in for the finish! Marabou unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Carson sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Morrow told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Funkyama pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Morrow taps out and this one is all over!
