Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronin Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blah Blah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blah has chosen Egg as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Ronin Samurai has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ronin Samurai seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Samurai shoots for a takedown but Blah saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Blah scores with a jab to the body.
Samurai on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Blah keeps the fight on the outside.

Samurai clinches with his opponent.
Samurai throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Blah blocks it with crossed arms.

Blah has hold of one of Samurai's legs. Samurai is fighting the takedown attempt but Blah gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Purcell!

Singh goes for an armbar but Purcell turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Purcell.

Singh has his foot on Purcell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Purcell works his way back into a safe position though.
Purcell trying to stand up but can't free himself from Singh's guard.
Purcell is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Singh looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Purcell wanted to stand there but Singh had control of the position.

Purcell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Singh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Purcell has managed to get both his arms back between Singh's legs - danger averted.
Singh manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Purcell manages to get himself to full guard.
