The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rome Jones.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jacarson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A jab from Hoffer finds it's way through Jacarson's defenses.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jacarson enables Hoffer to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jacarson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We've been hearing good reports from Hoffer's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Roberto Kim had his way with Justin Riddle in that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!


Riddle misses with a kick to the body.

and Kim counters with a nice double leg into side control. Riddle won't be happy with that.
The referee asks Kim politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Kim prefers to stall for the moment though.
Riddle is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kim off and has taken his back!
Riddle has the hooks in. Kim is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Kim turns into Riddle and is now in his guard.

Kim is nestled in close to Riddle, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Riddle is not content to let Kim control the position.

Kim lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Riddle!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Roberto Kim showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kim, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
