The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hui tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Silva defends well and Hui ends up having to push Silva into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Silva is pressed up against the cage. Hui has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Silva down to the mat. Silva avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Silva gets caught flat footed, as Hui shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hui is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Hui has managed to sneak the leg through.

Hui looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Hui is trying for a kimura here. Silva looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hui wins by kimura!

A relieved looking Sun Hui thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Sullivan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Some wild striking there from Sullivan.
Sullivan throws a right hand that Bone ducks under and follows up with a left that Bone also avoids with ease.
James Sullivan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bone moves out of range as Sullivan strikes.
Sullivan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sullivan swings widly with a right hand
and Bone counters with a big head kick but Sullivan shrugs it off.

Sullivan darts in and clinches Bone up against the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Bone has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Bone's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bone seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sullivan for as long as he can get away with.

We've been hearing that Bone has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Sullivan tries to bum rush Bone with a series of wild strikes but Bone uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bone tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sullivan was well out of range. Poor timing from Bone.
Sullivan jabs Bone right on the nose. Bone blinks but takes it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bone stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sullivan.
Bone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sullivan looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Bone counters with a low kick, right behind Sullivan 's knee.
Bone looks to score with a jab to the body but Sullivan is just out of range.
Sullivan jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sullivan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Bone doesn't seem bothered though.

Bone seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
