We've been hearing reports that Caraan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rumble slips a straight right by Borikav.

Borikav looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Borikav has hold of Rumble's hands but Rumble slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Rumble slips a nice elbow through Borikav's hands, connecting with Borikav's forehead.

Rumble is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Borikav defends it well.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Borikav can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rumble is nestled in close to Borikav, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Rumble throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Borikav tries to kick Rumble off but Rumble keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Rumble wants to work for an arm triangle but Borikav is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Borikav really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rumble. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rumble lands a few punches from side control.

Rumble has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Borikav is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Rumble yanks on the arm and Borikav is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Rumble.
