Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Silik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sven S Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunt's entrance music is London Calling. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Svensson's choice of entrance music: Muay Thai. Sven S Svensson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Assassin kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is yes. Fukuzawa comes into a darkened arena with his song building. In Flames - Colony kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Stehling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Renzo Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stehling kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Turmion Kätilöt - Minä MÄÄRÄÄN!. Machida is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by No more Shadows for the Past- NARNIA. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida takes a kick to the side of the head.
Stehling lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Machida throws a nice inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Stehling throws a big shot that misses.

Machida tries to sprawl but Stehling drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Stehling not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Stehling seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Stehling throws a low kick but it's checked well by Machida.
Stehling misses with a wild body shot.
Stehling looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stehling wants to clinch.
Stehling rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Machida moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Renzo Machida is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Stehling tries to close the distance and clinch but Machida swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Machida pivots, looking for a leg kick but Stehling is out of range and Machida settles back down.
Machida throws out a leg kick but Stehling moves out of range and Machida only half commits.
Stehling takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Stehling moves in looking to clinch but Machida pushes him off.
Stehling looks to land a body kick but Machida moved away.
Machida checks the leg kick nicely there.

Stehling blocks a jab.
Machida misses with a leg kick.
Stehling tries to clinch up.
Machida gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A nice inside leg kick there by Stehling. That's going to slow Machida down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Machida lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Machida throws a half hearted mid kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Stehling tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Stehling takes one to the side of the head.
Whack! Machida lands a heavy head kick that drops Stehling. The ref tackles Machida to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Stehling was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Renzo Machida!
Renzo Machida decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
