The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aldo forces Olegovich back against the cage and clinches.

Aldo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Olegovich can't fight it off and eventually Aldo manages to take the fight to the floor. Olegovich looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Jame stuffs the takedown attempt from Moldoon. Moldoon gets slowly back to his feet.
Jame has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Moldoon is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Creed feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jones sprawling to the canvas! Jones rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Creed finish him?!

Cruz has Lin pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lin manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Lin is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
A head punch on the inside from Lin fails to land.

Lin stops a takedown attempt from Cruz.
Lin's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Lin tries a body shot but Cruz blocks it.

The referee calls for Lin to work.
Cruz using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Lin has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Lin is pressed up against the cage. Cruz has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lin down to the mat. Lin avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cruz moves away from the strike by Lin.
Cruz misses with a few strikes there.
Cruz takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Lin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cruz sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Lin throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Cruz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Cruz postures up in Lin's guard and throws a big left but Lin blocks it.
Lin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lin has control of Cruz's left arm, preventing Cruz from doing any damage.
Cruz chips away with some ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sheng Chung Lin was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Cruz darts in trying to clinch
and Lin counters with a body kick that stops Cruz in his tracks momentarily.
Cruz tries to clinch but Lin is having none of it.

and Lin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lin throws a leg kick

and Cruz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cruz.
Lin crunches a lovely knee into Cruz's ribcage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Sheng Chung Lin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
