The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armo throws a half hearted mid kick.
Ishii looks to score with a jab to the body but Armo is just out of range.
Ishii misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Armo counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Armo lands with an uppercut that bounces Ishii off the cage and back into range.

It looks like Satoshi Ishii has been cut.
Armo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Clean and Green in the buildup to the fight.
Ishii loads up on a big right hand but Armo slips the punch.

Armo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ishii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Raju Armo will probably get the nod.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ishii has eaten all the pies!

Armo shoots in for a double leg but Ishii sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ishii avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Ishii drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Armo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Armo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ishii gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raju Armo.

Fanta connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Islander's hands.
Islander takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Islander punishes Fanta's body with a nice straight punch.
Fanta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Islander was well out of range. Poor timing from Fanta.
Islander feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Fantas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Fanta digs a right hand underneath Islander's ribcage. Islander let out a lung full of air as it connected.
