The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shepard keeps the fight on the outside.
Shepard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kwak throws a head kick but Shepard moves out of range.
Shepard lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Kwak tries to clinch but Shepard moves out of range.
Nice body kick there by Shepard.
Shepard slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Kwak has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Shepard lands a brutal head kick. Kwak looks out on his feet and Shepard throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!

Romano comes to the cage accompanied by Nicotina Groove by SUBSONICA. Weerasak Prechantakul told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Prechantakul closes this distance looking for a takedown but Romano circles away.
Romano tests Prechantakul's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Romano throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Prechantakul stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Hammer turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hammer throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Mathers stumbling backwards into the cage! Mathers bounces back off the cage towards Hammer, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hammer lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hammer celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
