The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Gautier is looking for a takedown up against the cage. zak gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Gautier tries to pull guard but zak holds him up against the cage and eventually Gautier drops back down to his feet.
zak breaks from the clinch.
zak avoids the body shot from Gautier.
Gautier lands a slapping body shot.
Gautier lands with a shot to the body.
Gautier tries to bum rush zak with a series of wild strikes but zak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
zak dives in and grabs Gautier's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gautier pushes down on zak's head and hops out.
zak tries to work over Gautier's front leg with a kick but Gautier checks it.
Gautier drops zak with a beautiful combination! zak stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gautier is looking for the KO!

This has been an exciting period of action!
Gautier is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches zak flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! zak is out cold! Gautier holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Scott tries to bum rush Doss with a series of wild strikes but Doss uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Doss avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Scott misses the target.
Scott takes a swing at Doss's ribcage but misses.
Scott misses with a looping right.
Scott has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Doss finds it's way round the side to connect with Scott's head.
Doss lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Scott throws a big shot that misses.
Doss lands a head shot.
Doss bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Doss with a jab.
Doss ducks under a wild hook from Scott.
Doss clobbers Scott with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Doss lands a body shot.
Doss scores with a decent looking hook.
Doss lands a nice looking body shot.
Doss ducks under a wild hook from Scott.
A looping hook to the body misses from Scott. Doss does a little dance to reset his feet.
Doss swinging wildly here.
Doss connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Scott tumbling to the canvas! Doss pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Scott was done - good stoppage!
