The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farofa wants to clinch up but Potterswheel keeps it at a distance.
Good standup being displayed there by Potterswheel as he connects with a hook.
Potterswheel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Farofa takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Potterswheel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Farofa tries to avoid it but Potterswheel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Farofa to the ground. Farofa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Potterswheel connects with a nice looking jab.
Potterswheel misses with a takedown attempt - Farofa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Potterswheel lands a nice looking body shot.

Farofa moves into range and clinches up with Potterswheel.

Farofa shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Potterswheel misses with a body shot.
Potterswheel has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Farofa is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Potterswheel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Farofa's guard.

Farofa has his foot on Potterswheel's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Potterswheel works his way back into a safe position though.

Potterswheel postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Oh Farofa is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Potterswheel gets to his feet and stands over Farofa, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Farofa felt that one! Potterswheel unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Farofa from any more punishment!
