The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Throatconoe tries to clinch up

and Crom counters with a crisp one two that drops Throatconoe! Crom thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Throatconoe to his feet! Throatconoe is in big trouble!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Throatconoe doesn't manage to clinch there - Crom circles away.

Throatconoe takes the fight into the clinch.
Crom avoids a wild elbow strike from Throatconoe.
Crom can't break the clinch.
Throatconoe lands an elbow inside that Crom shrugs off.
Throatconoe lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Crom displaying some good clinch control by pressing Throatconoe up against the cage.
Throatconoe struggles to land a body shot inside as Crom controls his hands.
Crom is pushing Throatconoe up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Throatconoe pushes off an throws an elbow but Crom leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Throatconoe should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Crom stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Crom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

and Crom counters with a lovely straight right hand!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
