Wylde turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
OToole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wylde circles away quickly and effectively.
OToole cracks Wylde with an open hand slap.

OToole fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wylde, pushing him back against the cage.
OToole lands on the inside with an uppercut.
OToole lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wylde backwards.
A right hook to the body lands for OToole.

Branson OToole tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Noah Puckerman!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Light Diode!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diode throws a head kick that misses.
Puckerman throws an off balance right hand

so Diode counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Diode working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Diode throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Puckerman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Puckerman is looking to sweep but instead, Diode has passed into half guard.
Puckerman wants to improve his position but Diode is controlling well.
Puckerman blocking the ground and pound attempt from Diode.
Puckerman is trying to get back to full guard.
Puckerman makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Puckerman.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Diode's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Diode in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Puckerman is on top in guard.
Puckerman tries to stand but Diode is controlling from the bottom.

Diode manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

It looks like Noah Puckerman has been cut.
Diode lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Puckerman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Puckerman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Diode's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Diode's back!
Puckerman can't escape the position, to get back to his feet.
Puckerman trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Puckerman doesn't have the hooks in and Diode manages to turn into his guard.

Diode throws an elbow that misses. Puckerman uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Diode's guard. Nice move by Puckerman!
Puckerman is looking to stand up but Diode won't let him.

Diode is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Puckerman has his hands clasped together but Diode extends and breaks Puckerman's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Diode.
