and Polk counters with a left and a right that stings Petronov.
Petronov misses with an uppercut. Polk saw that one coming.
Petronov throws an off balance right hand
and Polk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Alexender Petronov has been cut.

and Polk counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Polk avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Polk cracks Petronov with a hook to the temple - Petronov is on wobbly legs here! Polk swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Petronov falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Polk wins by TKO!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Boets crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Komodo - the referee stops the clock and Boets gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Komodo. Boets manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Boets has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
