The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Street lands a head shot.

It looks like Cyprien Noe Cyr has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Cyr.
Cyr bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Street's head.

A head kick lands from Cyr that sends Street to the canvas. Street tries to scramble back to his feet but Cyr brings him back down into side control.

Street felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Refn swings widly with a right hand
and Wexler counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Refn fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wexler swats away the attempt to clinch by Refn.

Refn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wexler tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Refn is in Wexler's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Refn throws a big right hand that misses.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Wexler controls Refn momentarily but Refn frees himself.
