Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flavius Trifu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Nikolaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trifu comes into the arena with Radioactive - Imagine Dragons blaring out of the sound system. Vladimir Nikolaev told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nikolaev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Tuilagi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Tuilagi wants to control from the top but Munalukko keeps moving.

Munalukko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tuilagi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tuilagi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Munalukko is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tuilagi postures up in Munalukko's guard and throws a big left but Munalukko blocks it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuilagi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Munalukko works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Tuilagi looking to sit in guard and control but Munalukko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tuilagi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tuilagi wants to control but Munalukko passes easily into half guard.
Tuilagi trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Munalukko manages to pass to mount!

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Manu Tuilagi.
I think Tuilagi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tiki Toke!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toke shoots in but Dirty avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Dirty definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Toke cracks Dirty with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tiki Toke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Toke throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Toke tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Toke pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dirty back to the cage. Toke follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Toke connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Toke misses with a double jab.
Toke lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dirty circles away quickly and effectively.

so Toke counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Dirty manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Toke tries to lock up and control but Dirty gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dirty cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Toke keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dirty looking to finish Toke with some ground and pound. This is bad for Toke!

Toke is rocked!

Toke is desperately trying to improve his position but Dirty has a good base and remains in mount.
Dirty loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Toke scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Dirty land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Dirty stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mac Dirty!
An out of breath Mac Dirty thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

Holyfield doesn't manage to clinch there - Stroya circles away.
Holyfield lands a head shot.

Stroya ducks under a wild hook from Holyfield.
Stroya lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Evander Holyfield has been cut.
Stroya takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Stroya cracks Holyfield with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Stroya has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Holyfield to stand back up!

and Stroya counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Stroya pounces like a tiger and cracks Holyfield with a vicious hook! Holyfield is down but not out! Stroya follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
