Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rebel Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mats Sundin Smit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mats Sundin Smit told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch throws a left and a right that both miss

and Smit counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lynch! Smit lets Lynch back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Lynch is rocked!
Lynch looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Smit is looking to slow Lynch down with leg kicks.
Oh Lynch is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smit lands with a big right hook that stumbles Lynch - he's out on his feet here! Smit follows up with another monster hook that separates Lynch from consciousness! Lynch falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Smit stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Mats Sundin Smit!
Mats Sundin Smit decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson feints a jab promting Machida to slip. Nelson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Machida slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Nelson wants to clinch up but Machida keeps it at a distance.
Machida should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Nelson forces Machida back against the ropes and clinches.
Machida tries to land knees in the clinch but Nelson avoids the damage to the body.

Nelson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nelson rushes Machida and presses him up against the ropes.
Machida drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Machida tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nelson smiles and moves away.
Machida dodges the punch combination from Nelson.
Nelson throws a right and a left that Machida avoids nicely.

Nelson tries to bum rush Machida with a series of wild strikes but Machida uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Machida slips a jab and a cross from Nelson.

Machida shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nelson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Machida is looking to take a break and control but Nelson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Nelson wants to control but Machida postures up.
Nelson is trying to get back to half guard.

Machida tries for a kimura but Nelson is defending well.

Machida takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Nelson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Machida back to the ropes. Nelson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nelson misses with a two punch combination.
Nelson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Machida is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nelson.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nelson drops Machida with a beautiful combination! Machida stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Nelson is looking for the KO!

It looks like Lyoto Machida has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nelson looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Nelson backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Machida's temple! It sends Machida violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Nelson celebrates and the doctors try to help Machida!

Rabago is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kushev sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Kushev stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kushev wants it to stay on the feet.
Rabago shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kushev but Kushev pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kushev tries to clinch but Rabago is having none of it.
Rabago shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kushev pinned against the ropes. Kushev gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kushev looks to land a combination but Rabago avoids it well.
Kushev definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kushev will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Rabago has hold of Kushev's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kushev tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rabago cranks the arm and Kushev screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kushev, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Yamada ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Yamada no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Creed wants to stand and escape but instead Yamada has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Yamada not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Creed on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Creed tries to get out of the position.

Keiichi Yamada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Yamada winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
