Maia goes for a double leg but Severart avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Severart continues to drive forward.

Severart gets control of Maia's arms and successfully pulls guard. Severart will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Severart will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
