The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guimba dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guimba is defended easily by Tuivaga.

and Tuivaga counters by moving into the clinch.

Tuivaga has Guimba pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tuivaga pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Guimba tumbling to the mat - Tuivaga dives into Guimba's guard.

Red Gym uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Complex.
Red Gym throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Complex.
Red Gym shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Complex eats them both and turns towards Red Gym to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Complex slips a jab and a cross from Red Gym.
Complex misses with a lunging right hand
and Red Gym counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Red Gym lands with a good body shot.
Complex is looking to score with low kicks.

Oooooh!!! Red Gym has knocked Complex down with a huge combo! Red Gym steps away and waves a wobbly Complex back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Joey Complex has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Red Gym goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Complex could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Red Gym closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Complex out cold! Complex corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hank Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Goodacre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Armstrong might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iron Man by Black Sabbath. Jacob Goodacre is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nix comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Eskobar Andersson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nix. Andersson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Andersson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Nix counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Nix.
