The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Aoki's head.
Aoki moves to clinch but Silva breaks away

and Silva counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aoki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Silva wants to control from the top but Aoki keeps moving.
Aoki wants to stand and escape but Silva is having none of it.

Aoki wants to get back to his feet but Silva is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Silva is pushing down on Aoki's leg trying to pass to half guard. Aoki is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.

Silva is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aoki doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silva.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rodrigo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Man has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Man and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Rodrigo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Man tries to land a leg kick but Rodrigo saw it coming and moves away.

and Man counters with a head kick that drops Rodrigo to the mat! Rodrigo scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Rodrigo takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Man cracks Rodrigo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the ropes! Rodrigo falls to his knees and Man doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Ip Man retains his middleweight title!
A relieved looking Ip Man thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Karanous shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Guimaraes as he jumps to the side.

Karanous manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Guimaraes on his heels. He'll look to pass Guimaraes's guard now, I'm sure.
Karanous looking to sit in guard and control but Guimaraes gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Guimaraes drops back looking for a leg! Karanous is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Karanous manages to kick Guimaraes off! Guimaraes jumps back into Karanous's guard.
