The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac looks for a takedown but Schaefer sprawls well.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Fitzpatrick has cracked Mac with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Fitzpatrick lands another huge swinging hook and Mac tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Mac, before Fitzpatrick can land any more shots!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kroton can do anything to dispel that myth.

Heart thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kroton throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kroton has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Heart will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Kroton lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Heart!
