The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trig pushes Suck away with a front kick.
Frank Trig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trig lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Suck circles away quickly and effectively.
Trig lands a leg kick that knocks Suck off balance momentarily.
Trig misses with an attempted mid kick.
Trig thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Suck if he has to take too many more of those.

Trig closes the distance and clinches.

Trig is working to tighten his grip on Suck's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Suck has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Trig is really squeezing tight and eventually Suck passes out! Trig breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Guida fails to land with a series of punches.

Jim Miller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guida shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Miller has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Soul Supremacy Elite Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Miller feints and as Guida raises his hands in defense, Miller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Guida is looking to stand up but Miller isn't so interested in that idea.

Bonnar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Johnson sprawls well initially but Bonnar persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Bonnar fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Johnson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bonnar wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
