The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Sheck changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hart looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Sheck is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hart is trying to escape and Sheck transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hart is forced to tap! Nice work there by Sheck! Very nice indeed!

Roger Sheck seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Griffin shoots in looking for a takedown. Anwar tries to sprawl out of it but Griffin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Anwar manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Anwar cracks Griffin with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Griffin tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Anwar pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Griffin is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Anwar!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stroker connects with a nice short shot to Coulter's temple.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
