The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith tries to close the distance and clinch but Kii swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Light connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Morton tumbling to the canvas! Light pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Morton was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Lang counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Grimwald's guard now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Lang here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Grimwald thuds his right hand into Lang's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
