That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bartlomiej Bartnicki.
Well Miranda has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amarce gets a clinch.
Amarce is pressed up against the cage. Flecher has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Amarce down to the mat. Amarce avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Amarce bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Amarce is chipping away with strikes.
Amarce lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Flecher is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Flecher can't do much from the bottom here.

Amarce tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Amarce has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Amarce swings around for an armbar but Flecher sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Amarce's guard.

Amarce looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Flecher is defending well. Amarce quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Flecher has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Amarce celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Demarce rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Draiman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Draiman wants to clinch.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Demarce keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Demarce is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Draiman pushes Demarce off looking to stand but Demarce dives back in and keeps control.
Draiman has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Demarce is working away from the top position though.

Draiman is pushing Demarce's head away, looking to escape. Demarce manages to hold on to the position though.
Demarce connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Draiman some visible discomfort.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Draiman is looking to regain half guard here but Demarce keeps moving and retains side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Demarce is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Draiman is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Draiman lands a big shot to the head and Demarce winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

A relieved looking Carl Draiman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
