Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Einear Yi!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yi closes the distance and clinches.
Yi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Yi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Yi misses with an elbow strike.
Yi is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Snail trying to land knees to the body.
Snail throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Yis head.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Yi takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Yi is trying to maintain a safe position but Snail gets an underhook and turns Yi into the cage.
Yi is struggling to control the position.
Snail keeps control of Yi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
We've been hearing reports that Snail has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Yi trying to control the position but instead, Snail has worked for underhooks and has pushed Yi into the cage.

A frustrated look appears on Yi's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Snail swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Snail can't find room to land a body shot as Yi controls the action.
Yi blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Yi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Snail has Yi pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Snail pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Yi tumbling to the mat - Snail dives into Yi's guard.
Yi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Snail is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Snail is working Yi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Snail working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Yi's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Snail slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Yi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yi can do anything to dispel that myth.
The referee asks Snail politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Snail prefers to stall for the moment though.
Yi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Snail. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Snail lands a few punches from side control.
Snail scores with a couple of short elbows.
Snail lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Yi down.
You can see the frustration on Yi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Snail is working to tighten his grip on Yi's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Yi has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Snail is really squeezing tight and eventually Yi passes out! Snail breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Gavric kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Frank Zappa - Cocaine Decisions. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Gavric is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jigster's half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gavric stops Jigster from getting back to his feet.
Gavric working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Gavric has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Mudisbarov's corner calls for a 1-2. Mudisbarov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
