McKenzie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

McKenzie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McKenzie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Freki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cruz.
Freki tries to bum rush Cruz with a series of wild strikes but Cruz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Freki moves into range and clinches up with Cruz.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Freki breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Freki lands a left and a right that send Cruz crashing to the mat, dazed. Freki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Freki engages and cracks Cruz with a massive lead left hook - Cruz tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Freki is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Sarnoso's coach down at Elite Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sarnoso's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Domingo shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Sarnoso takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Domingo sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Sarnoso bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
