The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexeyev tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Alexeyev paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ingram throws out a leg kick but Alexeyev moves out of range and Ingram only half commits.
Alexeyev throws a series of punches but Ingram moves out of range.
Alexeyev is looking to clinch.
Alexeyev throws a jab but it's blocked by Ingram.
Alexeyev tries to clinch up but Ingram circles away and keeps his distance.

Ingram pushes Alexeyev up against the cage in a clinch.
Alexeyev lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Nice body punch from Alexeyev.

Alexeyev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Alexeyev bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ingram's head.

Blyer lands with a nice combination. Larkin backs away looking to recover.
Blyer throws a series of punches but Larkin moves out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Larkin looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Both fighters circling a little - Larkin finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Banner is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Lamouna screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

That was a close round but I would say that Slopey Smith will probably get the nod.

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
