I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pluto Palhares was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palhares shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Palhares's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Smith has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That was a close round but I would say that Slopey Smith will probably get the nod.
