A head kick by Cruz - that's a beauty! Modesto is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Cruz can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Gatti throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Machida's waist but Machida gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gatti off to one side.

The fighters circle momentarily. Aurelio darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Clare fails with the takedown.
Clare drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Clare drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Aurelio manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Clare has Aurelio in his guard.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Maia ducks under a wild hook from Kurse.
