The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gillmore uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turua has time to react.
Gillmore pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Turua back to the cage. Gillmore follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gillmore misses with a low kick as Turua jumps back.
Turua shoots for a takedown but Gillmore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turua looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Turua has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Turua dives in and scores a takedown into Gillmore's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Gillmore shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Turua eats them both and turns towards Gillmore to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gillmore lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Turua backs up against the cage.

Turua is rocked!
Gillmore grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Turua takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Gillmore cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
