The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Landry takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Oyama looks to land a combination. Landry sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Landry takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Landry tries to close the distance and clinch up but Oyama swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Landry drives through and clinches with Oyama against the cage.

Landry has picked Oyama up - he's going for a ride! Landry dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Landry rolls with it to try and escape but Oyama cranks on the arm and Landry is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Yulaw throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Yulaw doesn't manage to clinch there - Smith circles away.

Smith closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Yulaw quickly recovers to half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Frost shoots in and drives through. Karleon sprawls well.
Frost looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Karleon is fending him off so far but Frost persists. Nope, Karleon circles away and we're back to standing.
Frenk Karleon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frost misses with a takedown attempt - Karleon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Frost. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Karleon lands a left and a right that send Frost crashing to the mat, dazed. Karleon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Osiander stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Loki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Osiander is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Loki flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Loki is out cold! Osiander holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
