The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Grant closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ziomek quickly recovers to half guard.
Ziomek avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Grant.
Grant throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Ziomek trying to hold on to Grant's head to control him but Grant postures up.
Ziomek is looking for a sweep. Grant is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ziomek keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Grant throws a strike but Ziomek avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Ramirez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Machado throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Ramirez's head.
Ramirez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Machado tries to clinch there but Ramirez circles away.

Ramirez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Machado avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Woodley throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Schwarzeneg on the side of the head.

Hartmann tries to close the distance and clinch but Khalidovv swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Hartmann has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Khalidovv throws a jab but it's blocked by Hartmann.
