The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Fidel Brasto has been cut.

Mankowski throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Brasto.
Brasto shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mankowski as he avoids it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brasto lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mankowski backs up against the cage.

Brasto is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Mankowski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brasto.

Oh Tong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

St Croix tries to land a knee to the head but Tong blocks with his arms.
Tong seems to have got his legs back now.
St Croix unloads a knee to the mid-section.
St Croix working the clinch nicely. Tong is working for position but St Croix cracks him with a big knee to the head! Tong crumples up against the cage and St Croix lands two more shots before the ref can save Tong! This one is all over!

Brian St Croix decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Pang Tong spoke after the fight, saying 'My performance in this tourney was to predict my future... Sad to say I'll be going home.'.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Notrussian Russian.
I think Russian has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Garcia gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Garcia tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Blazer is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Garcia buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Garcia!! Garcia is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Blazer throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ricky Blazer!
Ricky Blazer seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
