Nice takedown defense from Kazlauskas. No joy for Milnes on that attempt.
Milnes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Milnes lands with a nice combination. Kazlauskas backs away looking to recover.
Kazlauskas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Milnes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kazlauskas somewhat.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Milnes working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Kazlauskas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Milnes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kazlauskas to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Milnes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kazlauskas pulls down on the head and he's put Milnes to sleep! This one is all over!

Slammer misses with a takedown attempt - Rogers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Slammer dives in for a single leg takedown but Rogers sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Jason Rogers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leather Slammer.
Slammer has Rogers pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rogers manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
I was talking to Rogers's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
