Small closes the distance and clinches.
Salnik changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Small fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Salnik could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Salnik crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Small - the referee stops the clock and Salnik gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Small. Salnik manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Small is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Salnik frees his head nicely. Oh but Small has switched to an armbar! Salnik is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
