Kamehameha lands with a kick to the temple. Cobain shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Kamehameha connects with a nice cross there... Cobain is looking wobbly and Kamehameha recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Cobain to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Kamehameha jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mario tries to clinch up.
Uso looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Mario shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Uso defends it nicely.
Uso scores with a hook.
Uso lands a really nice looking cross but Mario seems unphased.

It looks like Carlos Mario has been cut.
Mario avoids a punch combination nicely.
Uso throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mario misses with a takedown attempt - Uso sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Joshua Uso has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Carlos Mario.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Uso distracts Mario with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Mario has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Uso lands a couple of decent looking shots.

That has opened up Carlos Mario's cut even more.

Uso got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mario has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Uso has managed to get both his arms back between Mario's legs - danger averted.
Mario has momentary wrist control but Uso slips an elbow through the middle.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mario will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Mario is looking for a triangle but Uso pushes his legs off easily.

The cut above Carlos Mario's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Mario is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Carlos Mario's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
