The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leg gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Peterson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Leg had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Peterson defends it easily.

Plights bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Meyer shoots in for a takedown but Plights shows good takedown defense.
Meyer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Plights ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Plights drives through with a takedown into Meyer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Brahe lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Richards has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Richards and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
