Horrible takedown attempt by Chulainn or perhaps it was just good defense by Charlie, which made it look bad.
Charlie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Charlie, right into the meat.
Chulainn tries to clinch but Charlie is having none of it.
Charlie throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Chulainn on the side of the head.
Chulainn takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Charlie has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Chulainn is landing a low percentage of strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chulainn throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Charlie to regain full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Charlie is on top in guard.


Charlie drops back looking for a leg! Chulainn is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chulainn manages to kick Charlie off! Charlie jumps back into Chulainn's guard.
Charlie slips nicely into half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
