A swing and a miss from Rahapussi.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Tomas.
Rahapussi lands with a hook. Tomas tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rahapussi misses with a lunging right hand
and Tomas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Tomas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rahapussi's head backwards.
Rahapussi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Vajas Tomas.
Well Tomas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3 rounds of action, we go to the scorecards for a decision.
Judge Robert Twigg scores the fight 27:30
Judge Gwen Towbar scores the fight 28:30
Judge George Francis scores the fight 27:30

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Vajas Tomas!

Vajas Tomas is the new middleweight champion!
Vajas Tomas seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
