Excellent takedown into side control there by Hanma.
Williams is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Hanma thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hanma has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Williams is trying to stand back up but Hanma is controlling him

Hanma is working for a kimura but Williams is defending it quite comfortably.
Hanma looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Hanma thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Williams's head.

Hanma working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hanma is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hanma throws a strike but Williams rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Williams is posturing up here but Hanma has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Williams tries to roll out but it's too tight and Williams has to tap! Slick submission there by Hanma!

and Basayev counters with a crisp one two that drops Makambo! Basayev thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Makambo to his feet! Makambo is in big trouble!
Cedric Makambo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Makambo tries to clinch up but Basayev circles away and keeps his distance.
