The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Price's head.
Price looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Price manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Perez on his heels. He'll look to pass Perez's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Price throws a big right hand that misses.

Perez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Price gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A clash of legs there as Nahtic blocks the low kick.
Nahtic throws a big shot that misses.
Carter takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Nahtic tries to clinch but Carter is having none of it.
Carter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Nahtic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Carter defends well and Nahtic ends up having to push Carter into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Lodbrok feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McNamara is looking to stand up but Lodbrok isn't so interested in that idea.

We've been told by Smith's head coaches at HILITE Fighting Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
