Undercard bout

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Leer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akira Sendoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Akira Sendoh was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Sendoh feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leer sprawling to the canvas! Leer rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sendoh finish him?!

Oh Leer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Leer. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Leer shoots in looking for a takedown. Sendoh tries to sprawl out of it but Leer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sendoh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Klumpo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gyros works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gyros will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fighters circle momentarily. Winogrodzki darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Willis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Winogrodzki paws at him with a jab and circles away.
