Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Risley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Risley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Townsley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Risley.
Risley lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Townsley is looking to escape.
Townsley wants to sweep but Risley has passed to side control!
Risley throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Townsley is not content to let Risley control the position.

A lull in the action here as Risley stalls from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Risley decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Risley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Townsley was covering up waiting for the punch and Risley finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Chavez drops Tutuola with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tutuola looks back up at him and smiles so Chavez waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Odafin Tutuola has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chavez throws a series of punches but Tutuola avoids them all with ease.
Oh Tutuola is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Chavez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Chavez's coach down at Diamond In The Rough Training Facility was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Chavez's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Tutuola wants to clinch.
Chavez throws an uppercut from hell that sends Tutuola clean off his feet! He's out cold! Chavez stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Gibbs shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Gibbs has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bulldog breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bulldog misses with a double jab.

Gibbs fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bulldog sprawls well initially but Gibbs persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Gibbs is keen to just control but Bulldog is a slippery customer.

Gibbs is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bulldog is just riding it out for now. Gibbs eventually gives up the hold.

Bulldog is pressed up against the cage. Gibbs has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bulldog down to the mat. Bulldog avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

That was a close second round but I would say that Burbank Bulldog will probably get the nod.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alamo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Thicke is not content to let Alamo control the position.
Thicke manages to get back to half guard.

Thicke tries to improve his position but Alamo has taken his back! Alamo has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Thicke tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Alamo pushes Thicke away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
