The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rafal misses with a takedown
and Turkey makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Turkey connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Karol Rafal has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rafal ducks straight into an uppercut from Turkey and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Rafal manages to regain guard straight away.

Rafal is rocked!
Turkey gets to his feet and stands over Rafal, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rafal felt that one! Turkey unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rafal from any more punishment!

Meshdej doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Vanhanen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Meshdej moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Meshdej throws a right and a left that both miss.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dandas is defended easily by Sukayev.
Dandas walks into a stiff left hand from Sukayev.

It looks like Bruce Dandas has been cut.
Sukayev has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Sukayev throws a hook but Dandas blocks it.
